How to increase Screen Lock Time in Android
Being an Android addict, I can remember that how hard I tried to increase screen lock time in Android. I looked into forums, blogs but nothing helped. But, the thing is I never looked into settings of Android phone myself because I thought that settings only come with Nokia symbion like phones but I was wrong. However, Android smartphone are automatically locked after certain period of inactivity. To adjust the automatic lock, follow the steps below:
- Go to Settings
- Select Lock Screen
- Choose Automatically Lock and set the time for touchscreen awaits to lock the phone display after timeout
However, this settings is known as Automatic Lock.
Automatically Lock appears when a secure screen lock is set and you can set the time for lock from 5 seconds to 30 minutes but 5 seconds is set by default.
