How to: Add a New Admin Design with MP6 WordPress Plugin?
The founder of WordPress (Matt Mullenweg) and many others plugin developers had contributed in a plugin called MP6 WordPress Plugin. Which is used to modify the wp-admin interface professionally. First it was published as a secret plugin and it made me laugh by reading the first line of the plugin on the WordPress plugins repository:
This plugin is a secret; don’t tell anybody about it.
Oh my God… But it’s no longer a secret plugin, and by using this plugin it will break the wp-admin UI and it simply modifies the admin design in just a few minutes with an eye-catching admin panel design. However, maybe this feature will be added in the upcoming version of WordPress.
But whatever I really love this plugin, because I was bored looking the old admin design and want to try something new right away.
What Do I Need to Get Started with MP6 WordPress Plugin?
Nothing? 🙂 yep it doesn’t requires anything all you need to do is to install and activate this plugin, here is what the installation process is:
- Download the .zip file
- Exact that file and upload it in the root directory /wp-content/plugins/
- Activate the plugin from WordPress Admin Panel
- Once activated your WordPress Admin design will be changed just after activating the plugin MP6.
- There no settings page by the plugin.
