I have just founded a really great WordPress plugin on free WP plugins repository that adds additional widgets in drop-down list in your blog. It works in only genesis framework. So, using this plugin is not very hard but sooner than later you will be able to understand how to use this simple WordPress plugin in your blog.
Genesis Widget Toggle
This plugin adds additional widget areas that can be slide up and down at the top of your site. Very useful when your site have a lot of information to show but doesn’t have enough space.
To style the above three widgets according to your blog design, go to Genesis > Widget Toggle. To add the widgets that slide up simply go to Appearance > Widgets, here you can see the three widgets areas like:
