There are two ways to use these shortcodes references. Either we can use a WordPress plugin called “Genesis Simple Edits“or by simply editing and locating codes in such files functions.php. ii) Go to Genesis > Simple Edits

  1. How would I be able to post the Parent Category only using the genesis simple edits plugin. Currently, [post_categories] shortcode only displays the child category and not the parent.
