The Gameplay

• Game Story:

You would click the button “Play” and the game first lets you choose your desired player between a number of 4 or 5 players.

You then have to select a country for your player. That’s it, your player is now ready to get into its first match. Note that you cannot have a name for your player at this point. The game will allow you after you have completed 3 levels.

Now comes to the match, you will score by passing between your team players and then shooting the football to net. To pass or shoot, you need to swipe the screen. The game gives you a line trace that you have to follow to pass or shoot the football.

You cannot stray away much from this trace. It means that you only have a small space to shoot the ball. It may sound boring and you might think that the game has limitations. But when you play, this thing actually makes the game interesting and challenging for you.

The game begins with one of your players having the ball. You will pass the ball to other players multiple times and finally shoot it. If you fail to pass it and the ball is caught by your opponent, you will have two options. To re-start the match or to use the in game cash to start it from where you failed.

• Energy Hearts

To keep it close to real life, your player has some energy to play the matches. If his energy finishes, he cannot play more and you have to wait for his energy to get filled again.

• Your player will have 5 red hearts indicating the energy.
• 1 heart will be greyed out if you fail a chance 4 times.
• It means that you will have a total of 20 chances.
• After your energy is finished, you will have to wait.
• It takes approximately 15 minutes for 1 heart to fill up.

• Challenging Seasons & Levels

The game is taken forward with challenging levels. The levels are divided by seasons and each season has a total of 20 levels.

It means the game has a total of 720 levels. Each level has 2 or 3 tasks to complete it. You will get a star when you complete a task. More stars means you are becoming more expert.

You got to play opposite different clubs and countries and you represent your country.

• In-app Cash:

As you complete the levels, you earn some game cash that you can use to refill your energy quickly or to save from re-starting the whole match when you fail a pass.

The cash can be also used to buy bread or T-shirts for your player to customize it as you like. The game cash can be bought by real money or you can watch some video to earn a little cash.

• Live Commentary:

When you score, pass or shoot the football, the game does commentary for you which is fast and on-point. This small feature enhances your game play experience.

Graphics & AI:

The game has cool 3D graphics which looks great on the screen. The game has some Artificial Intelligence built in, due to which the gameplay is controlled really well.

The AI intelligently controls the other players when you pass the football. It helps to make the gameplay more interesting and challenging.

Small in Size:

The game is smaller in size as compared to other football games. The size is between 91 – 100 MBs. So you don’t have to worry about the storage running out after installing this game.

Final Words:

I have been playing this game for 2 months and until now, it has managed to keep me hooked. The levels are challenging and with each level, difficulty level is increased which makes the game more interesting and fun to play.

Although the game is not like other high-end games and does not give you the same experience as them. But it is still a great contender to be your favorite football game.

With such a small size, it does not bother your phone’s storage and memory which is a great thing. Score! Hero has really made me feel like a football hero despite its minimalistic and simple approach.
