Widearea jQuery plugin helps you write large amount of text easily. Basically this plugin makes use of jQuery and CSS to create expandable textarea. It’s easy-to-use, lightweight JavaScript and CSS library.

You can start writing faster, smarter and simpler if you use this library. WideArea is compressed in 2KB JS and 4KB CSS.

Start typing and then click on the top-right icon which will render a full screen textarea.

How to use

Using this library is like eating a piece of bread. Just load both of these (widearea.js and widearea.css) in the head section of page (use minified version for production) and then call this JavaScript function:
